Kane Brown Takes Nasty On-Stage Tumble

Kane Brown took a nasty tumble on stage on the weekend (28 April), falling off an elevated platform mid-performance but shaking it off with a good sense of humour.

The incident happened while he was performing an energetic dance during Lose It at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

As his guitarist played a solo, Brown began spinning on one foot to the cheers of the crowd before misstepping and falling off the elevated platform, landing hard on his back on the stage. A trooper of a performer, Brown continued to sing while on the ground.

Eventually, he got to his feet and laughed off the incident, addressing the audience that went quiet after his fall: “Bro, you know how long I’ve been waiting to do that?”

In video footage captured on TikTok that you can watch below, the Bury Me In Georgia singer added, “Yo, please tell me someone got that on camera. Let’s go!”

Brown then took to his Instagram Stories and wrote (per NewsWeek), “Yo, Austin, that was fire. We've been waiting for me to fall during that, and I finally did. But I'm okay. I got a little banged up. My leg is a little sore, but we finished the show, and we all good. I love y'all, y'all be safe. God bless y'all.”

Earlier this year, Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, revealed they’re expecting a baby boy.

Following the 2022 release of his third album, Different Man, Brown enjoyed a steady year of happenings in 2023. He and Katelyn released an orchestral redux of their song Thank God (the original version of which appeared on Different Man) in February, followed by a live version – recorded at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston – in August.

Brown released a standalone single titled I Can Feel It (after weeks of teasing) the following month, and in October, he released another version of his famed Blue Christmas cover.
